Spencer Palmer, MD
Dr. Palmer was born and raised in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. He graduated cum laude from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. He then moved to Atlanta and spent a year doing cardiology research before attending medical school at Emory University. He did his internship and residency training at Vanderbilt University before returning to Emory to complete fellowships in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
His clinical interests include cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty and stenting, and treatment of adult patients with defects of the atrial septum.
Spencer enjoys downhill skiing and is an avid fly fisherman.
