George Chang, MD
Dr. Chang was born outside of Houston, Texas. He graduated with honors from Baylor University and the University of Texas, School of Medicine. His internship and residency were done at the University of California – Davis. Cardiology training at Emory University was completed in 1996. Prior to joining the St. Joseph Hospital staff in 1999, he served three years in the military at Wright-Patterson AFB.
His clinical interests include cardiac catheterization and coronary intervention as well as pacemaker and defibrillator implantation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is on several committees at St. Joseph Hospital.
George is the true wine lover of the group and also enjoys world travel and ocean sailing. His French bulldog, Steinway, is a frequent visitor to the office.
